Snowy Owl Perched on Driftwood

Description

The Snowy Owls fly down to Washington State from Alaska January, February and March, IF there is not enough prey which, of course, doesn‘t happen very often. So it is a real treat to see them! I was pleasantly surprised to find one in broad daylight, resting on driftwood basking in the sun.
